AES San Francisco revisited

admin Oktober 7th, 2008

Well, the show is over – let’s get to business. I just got back from San Francisco today and have settled in my new (though very temporary) home on 1630 Casa Grande St. in Pasadena. The AES show started a little slow on Thursday, but things got pretty busy on Saturday and Sunday, so everybody seemed to be quite pleased after all. I absolutely enjoyed my stay in San Francisco because Wes Dooley and Renee introduced me to so many exciting people. Also, the recording competition went really well (see my news on the front page) and having the chance to recieve comments from top producers/engineers such as Bob Ludwig, Steve Bellamy or Graemme Brown is just fantastic. Another highlight was the recording of the organ recital in St. Mary’s Cathedral where I assisted Ron Streicher on Saturday. Being able to work with Ron is just a great honor, because he’s such a nice guy and gives so much back to younger students like me. Anyway, enjoy those pictures. I also have a couple of short videos on my camera that I will share soon!
